Ex-Wigan star Anthony Gelling has put his video production training to good use by posting a comedy video about his signing with the New Zealand Warriors.
In a professionally shot, cut and lighted vignette, the Cook Islands international wanders into the kitchen first thing in the morning, reads the newspaper and rings about a job advertised at Auckland Zoo.
He is told he will be paid in peanuts collected from animal excrement. Gelling’s mobile then rings again. “Hang on, I’ve got a call on the other line. Stephen Kearney?” Gelling asks. “What’s going on, brother?”
The clip ends with religious music and the Warriors logo.
