The Widnes Vikings have signed prop forward, Stanton Albert, from the PNG Hunters.
The 23 year-old will join on a 2 year deal, he joins international team mate and brother, Wellington Albert, at the Super League outfit.
Albert has 5 international tests under his belt, despite his youth, and a host of experience in the Queensland Cup for both the Hunters and the Panthers.
Widnes coach Dennis Betts has stated that the club had “real interest in, even before the World Cup”.
The move will also support his brother, after the sudden loss of close friend and future Vikings player, Kato Ottio.
