DARREN Lockyer’s London Broncos will almost certainly get an early match-up with Super League opposition following the Challenge Cup draw tonight.

The third round draw was made on Monday night, bringing the elite-division clubs into the competition on the weekend of February 6 to 8.

And new Broncos owners Lockyer and Grant Weschel will have the chance to prove a point when they take on Bradford Bulls in the capital.

That, of course, is as long as they get past amateur side Wests Warriors at the Hazelwood Centre in round two on the weekend of January 24-25.

London’s squad was assembled with Super League in mind and it’s expected Lockyer and Weschel will want to make a Cup run to prove their bonafides.

Hull KR begin their title defence at Castleford Lock Lane or Brighouse.
