A MONTH after coach Jason Demetriou said he was than man who could spearhead London into Super League, supersub Connor O’Beirne has re-signed with the Broncos for the next two years.

“I’m really excited to be staying at the London Broncos,”  said the man who quit the game to be a policeman during Covid.

“London has become home for me and this is just the beginning. I’m looking forward to what we can achieve for the rest of this season and over the next two years.”

Demetriou added: “We’re excited to have extended Connor’s contract for another two years.

“Since my arrival he has impressed with attitude, ability and his character. As we push for Super League in 2027, I’m excited to see Connor establish himself at the next level.”

Coming off the bench in the 13th minute on Sunday, O’Beirne was named man of the match in the 1895 Cup win over Doncaster at Richmond Athletic Ground.
