THE PRE-SEASON is actually already underway for 2026 with Leeds and Wakefield playing on Boxing Day – and this weekend Warrington, Wigan, Bradford, St Helens and Castleford join them.
That’s a huge contrast to the NRL where the Collective Bargaining Agreement means some representative players have only returned to training in the last 24 hours.
The NRL pre-season begins with a double-header at Jubilee Stadium on February 7.
