Wigan Warriors are targeting a crowd of 17,000 and Hull KR are set to sell out at home in their semi-finals this weekend.
Wigan will host the Leigh Leopards at the Brick Community Stadium on Friday night, while the Robins will face St Helens at Sewell Group Craven Park this Saturday. The winners of each match will go through to the Super League grand final at Old Trafford on October 11.
rugbyleaguehub.com Long Reads understands the Warriors have sold 15,500 tickets so far and are hopeful of cracking 17,000 in the next few days. The Brick has a capacity of 25,133.
It is believed Hull KR are confident of selling out their ground, with the total capacity of 12,200.
rugbyleaguehub.com Long Reads understands Saints have already fully sold out their allocation for away fans of 1200 tickets.
Wigan and Hull KR have both had a week off after finishing second and first respectively on the ladder.
Leigh booked their spot in the grand final qualifier by defeating Wakefield at home last Friday, while St Helens earned their place with a miraculous comeback win over Leeds at Headingley on Saturday night.
Both semi-finals this weekend will be shown live on Sky Sports’ main channel, while the Hull KR vs Saints match will also be broadcast live on BBC Two.
