St Helens have been crowned Super League champions again and there were several big displays that got them the win over Leeds at Old Trafford.
Jonny Lomax won the man of the match award, and it was richly deserved.
Lomax set up the opening try, made 20 tackles, five tackle busts and 155 run metres. No one made more carries than him and he made the third-most metres in his team.
He was ably supported in the halves by Jack Welsby. Welsby was immense with three try assists, four tackle busts and 108 metres.
There was a huge shift in the forward pack from Agnatius Paasi, who made 159 metres from 17 carries and five tackle busts, and no missed tackles. While Curtis Sironen also starred with 119 metres from 19 carries, while also making 24 tackles.
Defensively, Morgan Knowles led the way with 37 tackles, one more than Joe Batchelor and James Roby with 36 each, and Matty Lees with 34.
Lees had a great all-round game, also scoring a try, as did Konrad Hurrell who bagged a vital try and made a whopping nine tackle busts.
On the opposing side, Rhyse Martin topped the metre count for Leeds with 181 metres from 26 carries, also crossing for a try.
Both centres Zak Hardaker and Liam Sutcliffe were impressive – Hardaker with 130 metres and eight tackle busts, Sutcliffe with 124 metres and four tackle busts.
James Bentley made a staggering 55 tackles, but did miss 10, while Kruise Leeming made 33 tackles off the bench.
