A LATE Daly Cherry-Evans try sealed Sydney Roosters come-from-behind victory over Cronulla in Perth.

In a stop-start and mistake-stained contest at Optus Oval, the Sharks led 16-0 late in the first half and seemed to have their opponents measure.

But the tricolours rallied in the lead-up to the break – having a try disallowed in the process – and enjoyed much improved second session.

Captain James Tedesco and winger Mark Nawaqanitawase combined on the right for the winning try, latter’s one-handed try-assist coming and instant before he hit the ground.

England international Victor Radley then made sure of a win which saw Cherry-Evans and winger Daniel Tupou each score a try brace.
