HULL FC and the team they beat 32-18 at Brewdog Stadium tonight, St Helens, will play in Dublin next year to make a weekend of it for Super League fans.
Wigan will meet WarringtonĀ on April 24 at the Leya Arena and, Saints chairman Eamonn McManus confirmed on Sky Sports tonight, the Airlie Birds and Saints would return the next day.
“We’ve today signed a formal partnership with Hull FC,” McManus said.
“We’ve been in discussions with them and with Wigan and Warrington for some while now.
“We will supplement the Saturday fixture with a Sunday fixture between Saints and Hull FC.
“Boy is it going to make for a great weekend in Dublin. I, for one, will be drinking the River Liffey dry.
“I think I’ll get a lot of support from the people around this stadium and from Hull.”
