AUSTRALIAN and Tongan international Keaon Kaloamatangi admits he’s got a leg injury – but it doesn’t extend as a far as cold feet.

The South Sydney star played against his future club St George Illawarra on the weekend and it wasn’t pretty as the Bunnies ran up a 30-12 win that ensured coach Shane Flanagan would be out the door.

He came on as an interchange in that game, telling ABC Radio: “Wayne (Bennett) brought me off the bench just to get rid of the first 20 minutes.

“My knee’s been bothering me a fair bit but as long as I don’t hit it each week, it gets better and better. I’m hopefully next week, it will be back to normal.

“I hope I can get on and get my first carry. Whatever Wayne wants me to do, I’m easy. I don’t care. I’m sweet.”

Asked if he remained committed to joining the Dragons, Kaloamatangi said: “Yeah, I signed a contract, yeah I want to be there.

“I’ve just got one more year here and then five years there so…

“Obviously a lot can change in a year but yeah, I’m not doing anything.”
