SCOTLAND fell in a shock loss to debutants the United States at the last wheelchair World Cup – and now they’ll meet again.
The Dragons’ convincing 92-18 defeat at WIN Entertainment Centre in the final round of pool play means the Americans finished bottom of their group.
Now Scotland and the US will meet in a consolation semi-final at the same venue on Monday – with the Bravehearts’ tails up after scoring the country’s first win over New Zealand in any rugby league discipline.
John Berriman posted four tries for the Welsh, while Fionn McCabe and Jonathan Gill each got hat-tricks.
Wales’ Andrew Higgins broke the 150-goal barrier during the win.
