The Warriors, who have won all three of their opening matches of 2026 and went into the Go Media Stadium in first place.

The Warriors looked to be cruising late in the first half but Wests Tigers scored 22 unanswered points to silence the big Auckland crowd.

With 10 to go, Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad posted his second touchdown for the Warriors – but it was too little too late – with Jack Madden putting a cherry on it in the 74th.
