AUSTRALIA’S rise as a wheelchair rugby league nation continued with a very comfortable win over Scotland.
Adam Tannock posted six tries for the Wheelaroos at WIN Entertainment Centre, while Zac Schumacher scored four and captain Bayley McKenna joined Diab Karim in bagging a hat-trick in a 104-24 victory.
The Scotland team included former England pin-up and double amputee James Simpson, who scored one of their four tries.
The Australians led 44-12 at halftime with McKenna crossing 30 seconds after the resumption of play and converting his own try.
Australia have a big final pool match against France on Friday.
“We want to work on our transition from order to chaos … we want to live in the darkness,” McKenna told Channel Seven.
