IN-DEMAND winger and emerging cult hero Tom Jenkins has eschewed the open market and re-signed with Penrith for three seasons.

Jenkins leads the NRL tryscorers chart for 2026 with 20 in 13 appearances and is also first for line breaks with 22. The 25-year-old is third for overall run metres.

“Tom has worked incredibly hard to establish himself at NRL level and we are delighted that he has committed his future to the Panthers,” club GM of rugby league Shane Elford said in a media release.
“He has continued to develop his game and has shown great consistency in his performances.

“‘Milky’ understands what it means to represent the Panthers, and we look forward to seeing him continue to contribute to the team over the coming years.”

Jenkins, from Boorowra in country NSW, joined the Panthers in 2020 and made his debut in 2022.

Off contract at the end of the year, Jenkins reportedly had a number of rival clubs circling.
